Everything in this kit worked as well or better than expected. I was really surprised considering the price. An excellent value. The only surprise was the bright light blue cover. I'm not sure if black was advertised at the time, but I'm not sure you can count on the color. It fits well though and the iPod no longer slips out of my hands. Excellent value.

The chargers messed up my iPod touch 32gb 3rd generation as soon as I used the wall charger the screen went completely black and did not turn on at all after. I sent them into apple and they couldn't even turn it on

First the easy - there are no earphones so I don't know why it asked about those. The screen protector is the worst I've ever seen. The #1 sticker would not come off so I had to clean off the sticky stuff, and it is all scratched up before even getting it onto the the Ipod (and I put it on to see how it would be anyway and it's all air bubbles, definitely not as good as others I've used in the past). The case itself is okay, not the best and maybe a little under average.
The most important part - the charger does not fit my Ipod Touch 3rd generation (barely - looks like it should when compared to the one it came with) so I can't tell if it would charge or not. Maybe I got a bad one? I don't know, but I have to send it back. I don't recommend it based on my overall experience.

I bought the package for the chargers, and they work well--occasionally I get an "incompatible charging device" message, but just unplugging and retrying seems to work reliably.
