It works just like it said it does, it outputs video from your iPod to your TV. I have a 3rd Gen iPod Touch 32GB, it automatically detected the cables and outputted the video to my TV. Apple does not allow 3rd party apps to be outputted through the TV so don't blame this product blame Apple. It is pricey for cables but it is cheaper than the Apple branded ones.

Doesn't work with the latest iTouch and they do not tell you that. This product is usless for iTouch latest gen.

This product was kind of a risk, seeing as I was looking for something to connect my iPod touch to my TV for quite some time, yet all of the products said they didn't work. This one does for sure. I even have the updated version 3 software for it, and it works great. Sound quality is good, video playback is decent (using a 52" tv) since my display is pretty large, plus it charges while you use it. Definitely worth the investment rather than buying the one from Apple. Don't waste your money buying from the apple store when Amazon is much cheaper
