Great September 9, 2010 Windore (Nassau, Bahamas) I loved this little device. I needed this for the gym when I was working out and it did its job. The sound quality is great as well. I never used the download software, however I used was my memory chip which had music on it already and I was ready to go. This was a great buy. The price is great no need for a fancy IPOD. This does the job.
Works great September 8, 2010 Cadd Nice little player. Super easy to use. I give it 5 stars. The only issue I have is that the headphone is beginning to fall apart by the jack. I don't use the OEM headphones that often. I have separate headphones for running and a different one for cycling...but for some reason, the OEM headphones are beginning to show wear. I only use the OEM headphones when I'm listening to music when I go for walks.
I actually really like the way the OEM headphone feels in my ear. The sound quality isn't bad at all! Anyone know where I can order another pair of OEM headphones?
An Amazing player September 6, 2010 Pedro Lopez can not believe that something so small could have such a good sound and be practical. For those who need music at all times this is a good music player, no need to pay a little more expensive. I added a pair of speakers that make it a good companion in my travels. By doing sport is very dynamic and friendly.

Reasonably good value, lacks bass September 5, 2010 D. Martin It's very small, very light. The interface is reasonably easy to learn. I've never owned an mp3 player before, and it took me only a day or two to get comfortable with the menu navigation. I appreciate the radio functionality and the fact that I can extend the memory with a micro SD card. The battery usually lasts at least 8 hours. When listening to podcasts, you can increase the speed so that you can get through it faster.
My main complaint is that the sound output is quite low quality. The bass, in particular, is very, very weak. When I play the same music file on my desktop computer, I can hear the bass very well (using same headphones that I use with the Sansa Clip+). I tried fiddling with the equalizer, but could get only a tiny improvement.
However, since I use this on a noisy bus, and since I mostly to listen to podcasts, I don't miss the lack of bass that much. Overall, given the low price, I'm content with this purchase.
One word of advice: if you use this with Ubuntu (or any other flavor of Linux), you need to switch it to MSC mode from MTP mode (see the Settings menu) in order for it to be recognized.
Was taken by surprise !!!! September 1, 2010 Kevin Well, I was completely taken by surprise when I opened the box and hooked it up and started listening to my favorite music on this. This player is damn good (probably cuz i didnt really expect much out of it.)
This player does what its meant to do. Nothing more nothing less.Very small in size and I actually bought this for me mom but really thinking of having it for myself.. lol.
Anyways worth every penny spent on it.
